You've decided to take positive steps toward the life you want to lead by taking charge of your health and fitness. More importantly, you are interested in enlisting the help of professionals that have been successful at facilitating lasting change in their clients lives. Congratulations! This is the most important step you can take, because embarking on this journey alone can be intimidating, unclear, and steer you off course quite easily.
We work with a wide variety of clientele, ranging from the working professional, high school and collegiate athletes, stay at home moms, the elderly, and everywhere in between.
As an AG client, when you first sign up, we listen to your goals and desires, take an inventory of your health history, and talk at length about challenges and struggles that have deterred you in the past, be it emotional, psychological or physical. From that initial meeting, we come up with a game plan working together to get you from your PRESENT self (beliefs, emotions, physical state) to your DESIRED self (how you want to feel, think, move, and look).
Each one-on-one personal training session is always dependent upon how the client feels at the onset of, and within each session. In other words, a client is not made to fit a specific training session just because that is what the trainer came in to work on for that day; on the contrary, the trainer always adapts the session to how the client is feeling on that specific day. We feel that this is crucial to the health and longevity of the client in terms of avoiding burn out, addressing the body as not just a physical entity, but also including the mind and the spirit of the person as well.
The AG on-on-one personal training client will be taken care of from a variety of perspectives. In addition to our regularly scheduled sessions, the client will be expected to perform their at home program in order to facilitate the process of what the client has outlined at the beginning as their goals. Email, text and phone support are available within business hours. Body fat and Girth Circumference Measurements are also available to the client. All of this and the features listed below can be expected at no extra cost to the client.
AG Large Group Training (Corporate Wellness, Outdoor Bootcamps) are held at a location that is convenient for all members of the group; whether it be in your place of business or public park, we bring the equipment, the coaching, and the motivation to help you succeed.
Utilizing Circuit Training-style formatting featuring aspects of strength, mobility, power, balance, and stability, it is one of the best ways to achieve all-round fitness at a price that fits all budgets.
One of the most common questions we get asked is "what if my fitness level is not the same as everyone else's in the group?" or, "What if I'm not working hard enough?".
For our Large Group Training, we organize our training sessions so each individual will be able to work out at a pace that is comfortable and appropriate for them, without having a negative impact on anyone else. With our circuit training format, exercises and movements are done for time, multiple exercise and movement difficulty levels are provided for each station, and the trainee self selects the variation that is appropriate for them, with the guidance and feedback from AG. While participants will be encouraged to push themselves, careful consideration is always given to make sure everyone is staying within their individual thresholds.
To help facilitate results, all large group training clients will have training programs to do on their own time at no extra cost. All Large Group Training programs contain no more than 15 participants, and each session runs for 8 weeks.
After a full body 3D warm up routine that addresses mobility and stability at key joint segments in the body, participants rotate through stations that target all of the major muscle groups of the body in a variety of challenging ways that build muscle and burn body fat. Clients can enjoy utilizing the following equipment to ensure a comprehensive training session:
Powerblocks (interchangeable Dumbells)
Small Group Training at AG is similar to our One-on-One model, except of course you have the pleasure of working with several other of your close friends, family, and/or coworkers!
At the onset of small group training, a meeting is set up with each of the group members to establish goals and desires and to take an inventory of health history. From that initial meeting with each of the group training participants (met individually), we draw parallels through each member's goals and desires, taking into account each participants health history. We use the information gathered in the meeting to customize a training program that will fit the needs and desires of the group as a whole.
Small Group Training participants can expect to work with all of the same equipment that is available with one on one training:
Suspension Trainers (Blast Straps)
One of the most common questions we get asked is "what if my fitness level is not the same as everyone else's in the group?" or, "What if I'm not working hard enough?". These are excellent questions that can be summed up with the following: Our Small Group Training is set up so each individual will be able to work out at a pace that is comfortable and appropriate for them, without having an impact on anyone else. While participants will be encouraged to push themselves, careful consideration is always given to make sure everyone is staying within their thresholds.
Each small group personal training session is always dependent upon how each client feels prior to and during the session. In other words, clients are not made to fit a specific training session just because that is what the trainer came in to work on for that day; on the contrary, the trainer always adapts the session to how the clients are feeling on that specific day. We feel that this is crucial to the health and longevity of the group in terms of avoiding burn out, addressing the body as not just a physical entity, but also including the mind and the spirit of the person as well. On the same hand, if one person in the group had a bad day, and they might benefit from a "restorative" session, but the other members in the group are ready to train hard, then the session for that day will be adapted to the circumstances of the members of the group.
This is a relatively more cost appropriate option for individuals who still desire high quality coaching and feedback on exercise technique while burning fat and building muscle alongside friends, family, or co-workers. Limit of 4 participants/group.
Working with one of our Certified Personal Trainers will set the course for you to get results all within the comfort of your own home. We supply the equipment, expertise, and guidance, you bring the positive, hard-working attitude, and positive outcomes will occur.
At-Home Training clients can expect all of the same services and features of either one-on-one training or small group training with equipment that is already in the clients home, or that can be brought with the trainer in their vehicle:
